In Star Wars D6 characters receive Character Points (CP) for each game session that varies (2-4 CP's standard) based on their successes, adventure completion, and exploration. Bonus Character Points may be earned for additional contributions including, but not limited to:
(1) Two to four paragraph character background story = +2 CP
(2) Two to three paragraph in-character game session summary = +1 CP
What this means is that if you write 2-4 game session summaries = 1 game session worth of CPs earned! These add up and can be nice to have but not at all required.
If this doesn't sound appealing to you other methods for bonus character points can include detailed gear/NPC tracking for the group, record/edit live stream video, web development, sound-board creations, etc.
